Aluminum is really not much lighter than wood, nor is it stronger, and it can create a frustrating condensations issue for some customers. The truth is that Blue Dow® Foam is better than wood or aluminum. In Nu Wa 5th wheels wood or aluminum is used only as "backer" material to fasten cabinets and appliances from inside the trailer and as perimeter reinforcement to fasten wall sections together. Nu Wa uses the minimum amount of either wood or aluminum, because a sidewall core of 100% Blue Dow® Foam would really provide the optimum strength and insulation, when laminated in Nu Wa's unique method.

Nu Wa's superior vacubond lamination process is the other important factor of the panel core construction concept. A unique process of computer applied urethane glue is sprayed over all surfaces of the three layer panel core structure in a controlled temperature/humidity environment. 500-600 lbs. of vacubond pressure is then applied to the sidewall for 45 minutes in a controlled environment. The final result is a reliable sidewall, floor, or glideroom with superior weight to strength ratio.
